As an indie author, it can be difficult to find the balance between writing, publishing, and promoting. Often we find ourselves spending more time on promotion than writing our next book. It's frustrating because we have to promote to sell, and we have to continue to write to publish to sell. Kind of a catch-22.

This is where Sunrise Author Services comes in!

Sometimes having somebody else to take care of a couple tasks can help alleviate the stress. We at SAS are able to do this for you. Is there a certain aspect of promotion that you would like assistance on? Here are several of the services we offer for authors:

• Maintaining social media (Facebook and Twitter)
• Running street teams
• Contacting reviewers for upcoming releases (ARCs) and backlist books (final copy)
• Contacting bloggers for guest posts, interviews, spotlights, and/or giveaways
• Newsletter design/maintenance (via Mailchimp)
• Create and promote giveaways (via Rafflecopter/social media page), select winners, and distribute prizes
• Promote sales on social media, including creating a simple graphic to share

• Schedule and set up Facebook events and parties (including finding authors to take over portions of the event/party if desired)• Plan out calendar of events, sales, deadlines, etc., to help keep you on track with your goals

If there's anything not listed above, feel free to ask if we're able to do it. We've listed the basics of what we can provide so you're able to focus more attention on your writing. We offer a variety of personal assistant packages to suit your needs for temporary assistance (by the hour) or continued assistance by the month (with a reduced hourly rate depending on number of hours requested).

Hourly Rates:

For 1-10 hours: $15 per hour

Monthly Rates:

$12 per hour with a minimum of 10 hours per month with a 2 month minimum of services

New Packages for Authors

Don't know how many hours to book, but you want to get your next book started on the right foot? We're now offering a "New Release Package" that is affordable and will help get your book in the hands of readers. Here's what it entails:

$30 - New Release Package

• Contacting bloggers for reviews
• Contacting bloggers for spotlights, interviews, and guest posts for release week
• Setting up and contacting winners for a Rafflecopter giveaway (provided/sent by author)
• Several tweets and Facebook posts scheduled and shared before and during release week

If you don't need any of the above, we also offer assistance with Facebook parties. Here's what we can do:

$15 - Facebook Party Package

• Setting up party (starting event page + inviting readers to come)
• Two simple graphics provided (one for cover photo of event + square one for sharing on social media)
• Can be any length of time (half hour to an hour typically) and all giveaways to be provided/sent by author
• Party will be tweeted and shared on our social media to gain more exposure and get more participants

We can also combine both packages for a $5 discount ($40 instead of $45). Just fill out this form and we'll be in touch with you.

Please contact us a minimum of SIX weeks in advance for the New Release Package. A number of bloggers are unable to take on last minute review books or already have all slots filled on their blog in advance and we would like to get as much exposure as possible for your book on release day and during release week. The more time we have to contact bloggers, the more opportunities to be on blogs. We cannot guarantee an exact number of bloggers who will participate and accept your book, but we will do our best to get as many as possible!

The Facebook Party Package can be done 1-2 weeks in advance and doesn't need to be held on release day.
